I had to ask the busboy who was dancing in between tables to please clear the table.then my server. was so good i ordered another.some other female server brings an entirely different drink and went back to the bar.our original server did not have a clue to the problem.then after 2 great appetizers.our table sat there with dirty plates for over 20 minutes. We decided to give this place another try.I gave it 2 stars as the food is really 4 stars.but the service and attitude bring it way down. So after being turned away a while back by a rude manager. Servers were helpful, attentive! Cannot say enough good things about the Metuchen location! More The homemade bread is incredible, although it is served with sweet butter instead of salted. There are about 10 pizzas to choose from. My son and his wife ordered specialty pizzas that are approx the size of medium pizzas and finished every bite. The Beet and Goat Cheese salad is also terrific and salads are large enough to split as side salads. There is gnocchi with mushrooms and peas a cavatelli type pasta with sausage, broccoli rabe, and olive oil a squid ink pasta with shrimp, and other delicious choices! Their Buttery Bibb salad is sweet and savory with glazed walnuts and vinegrette the Charred Broccoli salad is very different as well. half portions and risotto cam be substituted in any of those dishes.

There are 6 special pastas available in full and. Anything we have ordered has been wonderful: pasta, pizzas, salads, and all are unique and special. This is our third visit and highly recommend!
